The Evie dress has a rounded neckline featuring a tear drop cut out and contrasting black trim. It’s sleeveless, comes with a removable matching belt, and closes with a back zipper The pockets are pretty as well as functional, featuring a black loop detail detail that is echoed on the shoulders. That contrasting looping design detail is what really caught my attention when I first saw this dress. It reminds me a little of westerns and cowgirls somehow, so I’m tempted to bust out my Texan cowgirl hat next summer to wear with this. The slim, flared skirt would fit a light volume petticoat but that’s all, and I think it lays more nicely without one.

The sizing on this dress is consistent with all Voodoo Vixen sizing. This XL flat measures 32 inches in the waist and flat stretches to almost 36, compared to the 33 inch waist Voodoo Vixen’s size chart states, so there’s some give in the fabric. The bust stretches to 44 inches.
