It’s 2018! And man, is that a bittersweet thing. Yes, 2017 was was a hellhole dumpster fire of a year beyond even the stink pile of 2016, so seeing it gone and moving into a new year is great. But also, where the fuck did this year go?! I swear Trump’s inauguration feels like it was maybe 4 months ago, tops. 2017 was brutal but it did fly by, and scarily it’s time for another year.
December, at least, was lovely. I got to spend a lot of time with family and friends, and I made the most of relaxing and binge-watching old Grey’s Anatomy episodes during my Christmas break rather than forcing myself to be productive. There’s always things that need doing, but there’s not many times in a year I can actually lay on the sofa in my PJs guilt free for several hours together and doing so has been lovely. Also, I napped a lot with my cat so that was great. I won’t show you the sweats I wore while doing that, though. Maybe let’s just stick to the festive ensembles and the party season frocks, shall we?

Loving the December looks! I too am flabbergasted that it’s 2018. It basically feels like 2017 ran up, slapped me, and ran away laughing… But, there was definitely still more good than bad! I hope you had an awesome holiday season – looking forward to more fashionable adventures this year! xxx
