Spring Green in Tessa + GIVEAWAY [Dolly & Dotty]
The Tessa dress isn’t a new style for Dolly & Dotty, who first released it in black several months back, which is when I first fell for her. A simple and chic swing dress with a cut-out lace neckline and sleeves? Come on now, you know how I love overlays and mixed texture design details! This dress is all about that.
Now Tessa is here in some new colour options and it’s time to go green for spring!
Summer Feels [Collectif + Lulu Hun]
It’s been an awkward spring this year, what with winter insisting on overstaying its welcome, but the sun has finally started to make a few appearances and I am more than ready for her to begin reclaiming her time. I have several fabulous new summer-loving outfits hanging in my wardrobe ready for the feel of fresh air and warm sunrays, but none more so than this Collectif Joice dress and Luzia heels combo, which absolutely scream SUMMER TIME to me. It might not be quite nice enough yet to hit the beach in this outfit for a boardwalk stroll and, of course, the eating of ice cream, but wearing it even on a slightly dreary day still has me experiencing all the summer feels.

If you don’t know by now how I feel about dresses featuring black sheer overlays then I’m sorry, you just can’t be paying attention. I am allll about them. I am in love with them. They are, possibly, my deepest and most romantic love of my life. Like, we’re a thing, okay? You just have to know that and accept it. And looking at Unique Vintage’s Georgia dress, I think you’ll see why.
Goody, Goody Gumdrops [Karina Dresses]
Once upon a time, just as I’d first gotten into my pinup groove, you couldn’t pay me to wear a stretchy, casual dress. It was all about the cinched waists, the huge skirts, the full pinup look head to toe. Now, yes, that’s still my preferred silhouette, but you know what? I just don’t always have the time or energy for that. It’s lovely to get fully dolled up and to prance around in a skirt so large it acts as your own personal space bubble, forcibly. But it’s also nice to wear something that doesn’t cinch or pinch at you throughout the day, to not have to add necessary under layers to remove volume from one area while exaggerating it in others.
Sometimes, y’all, it’s just nice to put on a dress that requires no muss, no fuss, and damnit allows you to eat and breathe comfortably alllll day long. That is definitely a calling Karina Dresses answers.

If there’s one thing I probably don’t need more of and yet lately I can’t help but keep buying, it’s handbags. Specifically, beautiful summery-feeling wicker and woven bags. I don’t know whether it’s because the delay in our due spring weather is leaving me feeling frustrated to switch up my wardrobe, or whether I’m just so excited for warmer weather that I’m happy-buying items ready for it, but either way, here we are, my credit card and I, a little click-happy, a little over eager, and proud owners of some very cute new handbags. Today we’ll be looking at this Ellen and James beauty.

I know, I know; English readers will be thinking but we only just had our second bout of snow! But you know what? I don’t care. I’m bored of winter. I am ready for florals and frills and wicker bags and wedges! England might yet to be convinced that it is spring, but I am, and thanks to Hell Bunny I am refusing to back down!
A Cardigan by Any Other Name [Voodoo Vixen]
I am all about roses right now. Mostly that has manifested itself in coveting intricate rose embroidery or realistic fabric prints, but I think there’s still room in my overflowing wardrobe for a cuter, simplified form of this noble flower. Answering that call is Voodoo Vixen’s new Rose Applique cardigan.
Lady Amethyst [Lady V London]
If you feel like it’s unusual to see me in purple it’s because it is. It’s one of the few colours I don’t usually wear, to the point that I generally gloss over any purple styles I see whilst shopping, not even registering on my radar. However, the moment I saw this Lady V Amethyst Dirdle dress I was in love, immediately envisioning pairing it with a green cardigan to lift up the purple and put one in mind of rich toned, previous jewels.
Plus, something about purple makes me think of my mum, which is lovely given we just celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday. So let’s look at the dress that almost could have passed me by, but was much too stunning to do so!
